About Jane
I have spent over three decades supporting people to feel more at home in their bodies — through therapeutic massage, mindfulness and conscious movement.
My work is grounded in the understanding that physical, emotional and mental wellbeing are deeply interconnected. Whether through skilled touch, guided awareness or movement, I aim to create spaces where people can soften, recover and reconnect with themselves.
Therapeutic Massage
My massage practice draws on Swedish, deep tissue, remedial, sports, and pre- and post-natal techniques.
I have worked with people at many stages of life — from those experiencing everyday muscular tension, to individuals living with chronic health conditions, pregnancy support, end-of-life care, athletes recovering from training, and gentle care for older bodies.
Alongside my private practice in E14, I have many years of experience working within the NHS, supporting clients across Canary Wharf, Docklands, the Isle of Dogs, Poplar and Limehouse.
Professional Memberships
I am a professional member of both the Complementary Therapists Association (CThA) and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), an accredited register recognised by the Professional Standards Authority for Health & Social Care.
This means my work is trusted by the NHS and accepted by most private health insurance providers.
Mindfulness & Conscious Movement
Alongside bodywork, I teach mindfulness and conscious movement practices that support emotional resilience, nervous-system regulation and embodied awareness.
I teach:
5Rhythms® — a dynamic movement meditation practice created by Gabrielle Roth, using music and free movement to release tension, explore emotion and reconnect with vitality.
Open Floor Movement Practice — a resource-based, mindful dance approach that cultivates emotional intelligence, self-awareness and connection through embodied exploration.
Both practices involve no choreography or steps. They welcome all ages, abilities and levels of experience, inviting people to listen to their bodies and move in ways that feel authentic and supportive.
I currently teach 5Rhythms to elders for Age UK in Brixton.
Mindfulness Teaching
I am trained to teach mindfulness through the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) and am a member of the International Compassionate Mind Training Association (ICMTA).
I have taught mindfulness for a range of organisations, as well as in community and therapeutic settings.
My Approach
Across all aspects of my work, my intention is the same:
To offer a calm, respectful space where people can reconnect with their bodies, restore balance and cultivate greater ease in daily life.
Professional Bodies
I am a professional member of both CThA and CNHC which means my work is trusted by the NHS & most private health insurance providers
